Convención Evangélica Bautista del Perú is a member of the Micah Network
Integral is a global alliance of Christian relief and development agencies, working together to present a more effective response to poverty worldwide. Integral's goal is to see holistic transformation for more poor people, through providing collaborative opportunities for its Members in the areas of Disaster Management and Collaboration and Innovation.
Integral was launched as an alliance in October 2004 in Toronto. Prior to the start of Integral there was a 2 year consultation period in which the desire and will to model a new collaborative way of working was discussed and tested. What drew such diverse organisations together, from different countries, were their underlying Christian values, and a belief that the poor would be better served if resources were combined.
Integral membership is by invitation only.
Integral is an alliance of international relief and development agencies raising funds in their headquarter countries to support their own work, or work with partners around the world. The members of Integral Alliance seek to work together and coordinate their effort in responding to disasters, so as to maximise their efficiency and effectiveness. A core belief of Integral is that more poor people are helped by collaborative working, which includes sharing best practice, learning, personnel, projects and resources.
Integral is an associate member of Micah Network.
An important part of networking and cooperation is that opportunities arise where partnerships can develop in our work. Integral offers an opportunity to organisations who have the capacity and resources to fund raise and sponsor partners in their implentation of disaster management projects, to meet together and develop best practice in this approach.
