Bárbara Neres Hubbard is from Southern Brazil. She went to the USA as an exchange student where she met, and later married her husband Patrick. They have four children: Mary, Patrick, Tabitha and Olívia. Bárbara received her MA in Intercultural Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and her BA in Spanish Language and Literature from North Carolina State University.
After a career in International Business, she surrendered to the call of God. In 2004 she co-founded Living Bread Ministries (LBM), a church planting organization working with national pastors to plant evangelical churches that practice integral mission in desperately poor communities of Latin America. In 2006 she co-founded Ministério Pão Vivo, the Brazilian sibling of LBM, and sits on the Board of Directors. Today the ministry has eight churches planted and growing. Bárbara considers an honour to serve her Heavenly Father in such a way, and she looks forward to what the Lord will do in the future.
