David worked in the international oil, gas and electricity industries until 1995. Since then he has had a variety of non-executive roles. Currently he is a trustee of charities working with the disadvantaged in his locality and UK; he is also chair of a small software company.
David has been a part-time volunteer to Micah Network from its earliest days and has helped organise a number of the consultations. With the growth of the Network, he now acts as treasurer and secretary.
David has an MA and DPhil in Chemistry from Oxford University. He is married to Sue, and has seven grandchildren by his son and daughter.
