Integral Mission and the Community

8am - 2pm

Kigali, Rwanda, Assemblies of God Bible training center, Nyandungu

Join us for an opportunity for dialogue and discussion around the subject of Integral Mission and the Community.

Over the last few years we have been asking the very practical question of “what does integral mission look like in our everyday life, in our neighborhood and in our community?” We all long to see transformation. We long to see healing and reconciliation. We long to see people living life in all its fullness, no longer trapped by poverty and conflict. But how do we get there?

We have entitled this Conversation: Integral Mission and the Community – the intention is to explore together God’s heart for our community, how we can work together with our community towards wholeness, identifying the obstacles and considering how we can tackle them in united way. We anticipate this being the first in a series of Conversations. This is a joint event organised by Micah Network and Mercy Ministries International.

We will be hearing from Sheryl Haw, the Micah Network International Director, and Joseph Nyamutera of Mercy Ministries International.

Time and Date: 8am - 2pm, Friday, August 22nd (Registration from 8am, formal welcome and opening at 8:30am)

Location: Assemblies of God Bible training center, Nyandungu, Kigali

Registration Fee: RWF 2,000 ($ 3.00 / € 2.00) – this is to cover refreshments and lunch. To be paid on arrival.

Sheryl will also be leading two morning sessions on integral mission as part of the National Forum For Reconciliation Practitioners run by Mercy Ministries, on the 20th and 21st of August.
