Introduction to the Paper

Resilience that is formed through non- violent acceptance of perpetual injustice and undeserved suffering is profoundly Christ-like. It speaks loudly of Palestinian Christians who are caught in the middle of those on both sides who choose violence and how they deserve to be recognised as examples of soldiers of the Cross of Christ because they overcome injustice by suffering it just like Jesus.  Therefore the rationale for this paper is to acknowledge these soldiers of Christ because the deafening silence of Western powers to their predicament including parts of the Western Church.
